Why we label every AI market brief as synthesis, not live data
It would have been easy to ship a "Market Intelligence" feature that looks like it's pulling live prices and economic calendar data. It isn't — we haven't integrated a live market-data vendor, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
Every morning brief, weekly outlook, and high-impact-events summary is generated from the AI model's own training knowledge, and the prompt that generates it explicitly instructs the model to caveat that it is not live-sourced. That caveat shows up in the UI copy too, not just buried in a disclaimer.
The same principle applies everywhere else in the AI Platform. If a condition in the Automation Engine needs live volatility or spread data we don't have, it's selectable in the workflow builder — because rejecting it would be confusing — but it never evaluates to true. We'd rather a feature visibly do nothing than fabricate a signal.
